Silver Egg Studios is the traveling practice of Jess and Andy Wickstrom. After eleven years in Chicago, we’ve been on the road since 2014, originally living and working out of a fiberglass Scamp trailer (aka “The Egg”) and now our 1969 Airstream (aka “The Silver Egg”). Silver Egg Studios is an outgrowth of our traditional firm, Wickstrom Design, and our community-funded project, Design Egg.

From 2014-16, Design Egg awarded over $40,000 in design, photos, websites, and videos to grantees across the country. Originally funded with Kickstarter, the project went on to be supported by more than 250 individual and corporate contributions. We have been invited to share the Design Egg story in lectures at the University of Kansas, Anderson Ranch Art Center, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

With Silver Egg, we take our passion for working with mission-driven organizations to a new level by opening up our services to dozens of clients on a tiered pricing structure. Contact us to learn more about sliding-scale rates based on your annual budget. Not a nonprofit? We also provide creative services to individuals and business of all sizes, from Bosch USA to East Meets West Music, the official recording label of the Ravi Shankar Foundation.
